Note that the mother to be is not accused of anything specific and has never been charged with being a danger to other children. But, Social Services plans to go to court (while she is still in the hospital) to get the court to give them her baby. If that doesn't work, they plan to force home supervision on her, anyway.

Apparently, the only thing this mother has done wrong was be "partially-sighted, diagnosed with depression and a personality disorder." It seems that social services has already deemed her unfit to be a parent although they have also come to the conclusion that they do not deem her threat, just "possibly" a threat at some future date (just like in the movie, "Minority Report").

All I can say is this is some serious bullshit...and scary as fucking Hell!
